finally sledding!

 1/6/13- We are FINALLY getting these boys out to do some sledding today!  After spending about an hour getting their gear on (not really, but it feels like that!), they were ready to hit the big hill.

Grandma & Grandpa Bartlett came over after church to join us while the girls napped inside.

The hill in our backyard is the perfect size for these guys!

As the snow gets packed down and the run gets faster, we have to send someone into the creek to do some catching.  When the boys are bigger, they're going to have a ton of fun crashing into this thing. For now, Grandma helped them avoid injury.

After the sledding fun, Grandma & Grandpa hiked up the hill with the boys.

Then they carried two tired boys back home.  :)

We enjoyed some warm cookies and cocoa afterward.  A perfect winter afternoon!!
