Time to make Cainan's birthday cake!

Luke and I went to the football game tonight... just the two of us!  Watching the band during halftime really made me miss my drumline days!!  I played the quints and can still play the cadence and most of the drum riffs for the pregame show.

A couple attempts at a picture with my hubby.  I always cut off his head.  Love this man.

10/10- Out to the Arboretum today. So excited about this warm weather and soaking up every chance to be outdoors.  Myka playing the tube instrument...

10/11-  Today I had the kids pose for an idea I have for Cainan's birthday cake!  I told them to do football poses and this is what we got.  :)

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show... (I keep telling them to work on a story line) 

They love for me to record their shows and then watch them back on the camera or TV.  I happily oblige... love to see them being creative. 

I told the boys that if they could keep the shoe area organized for a whole week that we'd get ice cream.  They did it... so we paid up!

Kezia was a disaster.... but it was super funny!

Dad- always on call.  Cainan enjoyed a bouncy knee ride while Luke took care of business.

10/9-  Myka and I had a date today... haircuts!   Here's her before....

My friend, Beth... I love this lady.

Myka did so well!!  She sat perfectly still and seemed to enjoy it.  Do I forsee some girl-type dates in the future??

I packed a picnic lunch and Myka sat on the floor and ate while I got my hair cut, too.

Outside for plasma cars....  Boaz has a plan.

Cainan oozes joy when he's playing chase, beating someone, or doing something adventurous.  Send him down a hill on a plasma car and tell him to try to pass his sister- and he's in heaven!!

Dad brought home a really cool caterpillar today!!  They found it at one of his stores and saved it for the boys.  We had fun learning about the tomato caterpillar tonight.

It grossed me out, but we had it on the table through several meals.

The way Cainan uses tools....

Family Bible Time... we've instituted this instead of going to a Wednesday night program this year.  It's a little more our speed.  We sat them down with a special popcorn snack in hopes they'd listen better tonight.  It sort-of worked?!

Myka prays...  her prayers are long, and about everything she sees.  And they're long.  :)  This is a short one.  Love this girl.
