Boaz's 7th bday

2/12- It's almost birthday time!  We're having a lego party, so I made the marshmallow lego heads as treats.

Boaz made this one...   :)
2/13-  My birthday boy.  He's growing up too fast!

Cainan was really eager to see Boaz open the present he made his brother.

An awesome picture made by Cainan.

Boaz has been wanting to paint pictures, so we bought him a little pack of canvases to try painting on.

And a giant 7 pancake.

Getting all set up for the big birthday party.

The winner of the lego guessing game won this 'how to build a lego Emmet' book... written and illustrated by the birthday boy himself!

A lego Emmet poster for the party.

A marquee on the front door.

And making the popcorn for the movie night.

The boys helped me assemble the 'dinner' boxes for the party.

We turned shoe boxes into legos filled with popcorn and food for the movie.
And on a whim, I had them help me scrub the grout on the kitchen floor... ha!
Luke set up a projector in our living room and we packed in the neighbor kids for the Lego Movie.

After the movie... present time.

Announcing the game winner.

Boaz decorated the party with some of my favorite pictures ever.

2/14-  Grandpa and Grandma Glace came over this afternoon to celebrate with Boaz.

Snuggles with Gpa

A robot!!
Digging for dinosaur bones.

A picture of the invitations Boaz made for his friends.

2/16- A gift from Boaz....

And coupons/tickets to redeem!
1 Free day by yourself, 1 free girl day... etc.   I'm not sure how he's going to pull this off, but he must know Mama needs a break.   :)
2/17-  Grandpa and Grandma Bartlett came over tonight to celebrate Boaz.  A silly poem by Gpa.

His own bag for his bike!!
And... he sees something good inside!
And legos from Justin!

We've had a fun few days celebrating our special boy.  Boaz, you are truly unique... in such a cool way.  I am so lucky I get to be your mom.  You are creative, have such awesome ideas, ask great questions, and you never stop thinking... or talking.  :)   You are growing into a helpful, responsible, awesome young man.  You are starting to get a funny bone and laugh at sarcasm and mom's jokes.  (that's fun for me!)  You bring such life to this home.  And you come up with lots of fun things for the kids to play.  I love being your Mom!!
