Oct 2014- Big Trip South to OK

10/29- We are heading to Oklahoma!  The kids traveled so great today.  We pulled into Kansas City and grabbed an early dinner at Perkins.  The kids were so excited about their big giant pancakes smothered in sugar.
After the meal was over, Cainan pointed to the kids menu and told me he wanted to order another meal.  :)   That kid.
10/30- We made it!!  We got to Gma & Gpa Montgomery's house and it was beautiful weather.  We spent the afternoon on the patio playing and laughing.
Great Grandpa loves to give hugs.

Reading books with Grandma Glace
(Look at that big grin from Kezia!)

Great Grandpa's big helper.

Great Grandpa got out his push cart and made it into a car for the kids.  They spent hours giving rides!

Grandpa's calendar...  :)
Found Boaz snuggled up with Gpa watching baseball tonight.
The other kids decided to join, too.

10/31- Hanging out with Aunt Sandi

Shhh... we're hiding!  It's a surprise party!!

Surprise!!!  Happy Birthday, Great Grandpa!
Come to your party!!

Boaz wrote a book for Grandpa's birthday...

Birthday Banner
And, of course, we had to eat rootbeer floats to celebrate!
Later that afternoon, Sandi took the kids and I to a really sweet park to play.

Back on Grandpa's porch... just hanging out.
And lots more laughter

Making more books..

Grandpa liked his story from Cainan.

We did a little trick-or-treating in warm Oklahoma this year. Kezia the cowgirl was scared of all costumes (including the boys'), so she went on a little walk with Grandma Glace and pretended to trick-or-treat.

Oh goodness... I love these kids.   The boys couldn't put on their mask-es until we were away from Kezia.
My cute girls.

Trunk-or-treat at a church.
Our kids' costumes were a hit everywhere we went.

Then we headed to the mall for a quick round and some more candy.

11/1- Cainan and Gma playing Yahtzee

Out to our favorite.. Western Sizzlin'.  Grandpa loves to 'cook' for us when we're there.  Cainan really really enjoyed the all you can eat carbs.  :)

Aunt Roni gave Grandma Glace a really awesome gift...

Laughs...
Boaz is SUPER full...

A few more rounds on the push cart!

I should have put an odometer on this cart at the beginning of the visit!
Granpa went in for a little rest and when I peeked in, I found Boaz snuggled up with him again.  :)
Grandma Glace and her beautiful quilt from Roni.
A little rest on Gpa's bed.

Time to head back home... a quick picture before we go.

It's been a wonderful visit.... we sure love our Oklahoma relatives.  Always hard to leave.
