11/7- One of our favorite things recently happened.  Frosty the snowman is up around the corner from us!  People in our neighborhood get really into their decorating and lights.  (We're sad that the people who synchronized their lights to music moved this summer!)  We decided to go on a walk after dinner to see our long lost friend, Frosty.   Here's Cainan getting us into the mood with song...   (He is ALL boy! This video will give you a good look into his intensity and rough-around-the edges attitude!)

This has been one of Boaz's favorite houses at Christmastime for years. He's fascinated by the moving deer.

This year Cainan is joining in the fun!

Look!!

Hi, Frosty!!  This house has some speakers outside that they play music on.  Everytime we drive by at night, the boys want us to roll down the windows and see if it's playing.  The family that lives here probably thinks they have stalkers in a silver minivan!

After the boys went to bed, Myka enjoyed hanging out with her daddy. 

11/8- Today we got to see something really awesome!  Grandpa Bartlett recently built a new addition on his church and today they knocked down the old part of the building!  He called us this morning to tell us it was happening, knowing that the boys would love to watch this.   It was a chilly day, so we stood outside and watched for a couple minutes. 

Then I pulled the van up and we watched from the warmth of our vehicle. 

I packed some picnic lunches, so we enjoyed those while we watched the big machine. 

That thing will 'knock it all down!'

Boaz's commentary was so funny... "What's going to happen to that toilet there?  Is that light going to get knocked down, too?  Where does all that dust come from? Look at all that dunk! (junk)"   Cainan's commentary was, "Big! Look! Ohhhhh! Boom!!!"
