8/22- Home from vacation... let the 'normal' life begin! We spent some time playing in the boys' room this morning. Myka just looked cute- so here's some pictures. :)

Luke took back a couple fence panels from our window well project and got a Menards giftcard. He's been wanting a lawn edger for a few years and finally used some of that money to get himself one. This afternoon we worked on edging the sidewalk & driveway. The boys were a big help. Luke edged and broke off the chunks of grass, then the boys carried the big piles to the trashcan.
Then Boaz swept the grass into a pile for Cainan to pick up.
Cainan seriously LOVES to throw things in the trash. This job was perfect for him.

Boaz was pretty proud of the work they did. I told Luke later, that this was my idea of a perfect night- beautiful weather, the family spending time together... it didn't matter that we were doing a 'chore'- being together made it fun! I just love family nights.
I had Myka strapped in her bjorn for the evening, so we helped with the edging minimally. After the big project we had dinner and Myka enjoyed some time staring at her little bear friends. She currently likes staring at the bears hanging from her baby swing quite a bit!
