12/23- Tonight we celebrated Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Glace! The cousins were so excited to start opening some presents! Without being told- they just lined up and waited by the tree! :)
Cainan dug in and was super excited about his new Nerf gun! (these things really fly!)
A picture of the fat lip Boaz got trying to Christmas shop with Dad this morning. Shopping can be rough! (the lip looks MUCH better tonight!)This gift was for Boaz and Cainan....
an entire tub of costume clothes that my mom made! Seriously amazing... policeman, fireman, cowboy, indian, Pastor Bartlett vests & ties, mailman, train engineer, zookeeper, farmer, truck driver, etc. This is going to provide HOURS and HOURS of entertainment at our house. Just up Boaz's alley... pretending!
Cainan enjoyed the train whistle.
Boaz got excited about every new outfit he pulled out of that box!
Pastor Bartlett checking out his new array of mustaches.
Fireman Boaz saves the day...
Look! I have a fire extinguisher!!What's a fire extinguisher??
Cainan's cute Indian costume.
Playdough pizza factory from the Farwell cousins!
Myka's turn!
The grandkids were so excited about their gift for Grandpa Glace. We took a bunch of pictures of them holding signs that said 'We Love You, Grandpa' and each kid posed with some of Grandpa's old toys, football jerseys, etc. They also made him some drawings and my sister put it all in a book for him to take along in the truck! It turned out so cute!
Myka got her first cabbage patch doll! I had a couple special cabbage patch dolls growing up... Maggie & Gussy Sue! :) She'll have hours of fun with this someday. Until then, we're leaving it safe in the package. Her brothers really want this doll to come out and play, but I have a feeling it'd be destroyed before she ever even gets to it.
No trip to Grandpa's is complete without some wrestling!!
The older kids spent the night here (it was a challenge to get them settled down!) and then we all met for breakfast the following morning. It was such a fun celebration with our whole family!! So blessed---
